Cryogenic particle detection based on magnetic microcalorimeters for rare event searches

چکیده

Magnetic microcalorimeters (MMCs) have become essential components of many science applications requiring high-resolution detection. MMCs serve as sensitive thermometers that measure the temperature increase in a thermal calorimetric detection system at mK temperatures. The MMC technology utilizes superconducting circuit and electronics together with magnetic sensor material gold or silver alloy doped small concentration erbium. metallic ensures fast thermalization itself, which is critical parameter for achieving good energy resolution timing cryogenic particle applications. A detector consisting crystal absorber an wide dynamic range linearity. Moreover, light detectors based on readouts are applicable to heat when using scintillating absorber. In this review, we present methods by setup configured rare event search experiments. design concerns component models presented various double beta decay experiments dark matter searches.
